Okay, so I just got back from my appointment with the physical therapist... and guess what! What he had to say about what was going on with my foot is COMPLETELY different than what that goddamned doctor said! He says I hurt a couple of the muscles on the top of my foot which is causing about 90% of my problem and aggravated a couple tendons underneath said muscles, which is causing about 10% of my problem. He also told me that because of the muscle issue, it is most likely pressing on a nerve that runs across the top of my foot which is making my toes and the side of my foot go numb. So he gave me some stretches to do to get some mobility back in my foot, which at the moment hurt like hell to do, but I'm gonna do them anyhow. After he poked, prodded, and twisted my foot around, he gave me an ultrasound massage to make the pain less, which was nice. Always did like ultrasound massages, they're very relaxing. A few years ago I was having 3 a week when I hurt my back, that lasted for about a month or so.
But yeah, figured I'd let ya know that I hafta go back for more physical therapy later this week, and then after that appointment, I have to go back to the original bitch of a doctor that said I "sprained my foot". Guess we'll see what she has to say then. My therapist said that a lot of the time, they send people to PT to get the explanations for what's really going on because they just don't have time to explain it and bla bla bla... okay, fine, but she coulda said more than "Its not broken". Silly bitch. I'll keep ya updated on what goes on at the later appointments.
