I ask for so little. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.

Can't sleep for shit lately... no idea why other than the fact that maybe my insomnia is kicking in again. It took me at least an hour to fall asleep last night after I went in to lay down and then I tossed and turned all night and kept waking up. Now, six hours later, I'm up again. It's been like this for three nights running now... maybe tonight I'll take some valerian root before I try to go to bed, at least it'll relax me enough so that when I do sleep, I won't be thrashing around.

 

The giant scratch that showed up on my leg the other day while I was sleeping is finally going away. No idea how it got there, there are no exposed springs on my bed or anything else that could have possibly given it to me in my blankets. First day I woke up because my leg hurt and I looked down and it was bleeding, next day, it was reopened... not fun and really strange. But, it's healing up now with no recurrances of whatever caused it to get there in the first place or reopen it. (Yes, I know there are a few of you who are going to go "Why didn't you call and tell me this was going on?" ...but well, shit happens. We've apparently taken care of it and we didn't want to bother you with undue stress over something relatively small... so hush.)

 

I've been having the strangest freaking dreams that make very little sense. They're very fragmented and very confusing. I rarely have problems remembering my dreams and these are no different, they just seem to jump around a lot. Lots of running from or toward things, lots of different people showing up, some of which I haven't seen in years. Vivid colors, almost bright enough to hurt the eyes. They're really hard to explain, but if anyone's curious or wants to play around with interpretation of anything, let me know and I'll do my best to put it all into words. Some of it is recurring on a nightly basis the last week or so and it seems vaguely important. I'm just not sure I'm paying close enough attention to figure out what it's sposed to mean.

 

One or two of you will know what I'm talking about here... he showed up at work again last night. That weird guy who asks for me by a different name. Luckily I was on break. One of the girls told me when I came back in. Apparently he had said he'd be back in to talk to me about something important, but he never showed back up. Fine by me. Creep.
