I ask for so little. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.

Okay, so I had a long shift today, which kind of sucked, but there was some definite entertainment in the form of strange customers...

 

Customer #1-Raccoon lady... coming back out to the sales floor from the back room, myself and another coworker stopped in the doorway of the back room to let a customer pass. The woman was very pretty, but there was one problem... she had a skinned raccoon on her head! The thing still had a face and it's tail was hanging down her back... it looked like she literally just skinned it and plopped it over her hair! I stifled a laugh and turned back into the back room and my coworker looked up at her, lost it, and bolted. We were both in the back for about another five minutes just to calm ourselves down.

 

Customer #2-Ellie May... Was out on the sales floor helping a customer when another waved to get my attention. When I turned, there was the 300 pound reincarnation of Ellie May Clampett... in flannel, pigtails and all. I had to bolt and sent another girl to help her out. Even better, 3/4 of her teeth were rotting out of her head... eww

 

Customer #3-Happy boy... Guy came to the counter to make a return of an Italian charm bracelet and the charms for it. When I asked the obligatory question of why he was returning it, if there was a defect or if it was simply unwanted, he looked at me and said, "Nah, we broke up". I looked up and was kind of stunned for a second and mumbled something about "sorry to hear that" and he grinned at me, laughed a little and went, "It's okay, I'm good. Actually, never been better. Just glad I kept the receipt." ...Okay buddy, long as you're happy...

 

So yeah, those are a few of the more amusing ones from today... figured I'd share since stuff like this doesn't happen too often lol
